Don’t Post These 8 Things About Your Relationship on Photo Sharing AppsApp
In today’s age of social media and photo sharing apps, couples posting about their relationship is a common thing.
Some are pretty inspiring, especially for couples that went against all odds to be with each other (e.g. interracial couples). But along with good ones, there are a few couples that sure don’t know how to control the content that they’re posting.
8 Things About the Relationship that you shouldn’t Post on Photo Sharing Apps
Now if you’re in any sort of romantic relationship, we suggest you avoid posting any of these 8 types of content. This is to ensure that privacy is still retained in the relationship and to not annoy any of your friends and followers.
1. Anything Underneath the Sheets
You did enjoy the night away, but intimate details about your love life aren’t really the best thing to post on social network apps. Do you want aunt Linda to see photos of you in bed with your partner? For sure you don’t want to.
2. Unapproved Photos
Your honey might be super adorable on his yawning photo, but do you think he wants that photo to be seen on his social media profile? Posting a photo of your partner in his/her vulnerable state will be violating his/her part. Because that photo isn’t going to be seen only by you, but also by his/her colleagues.
If you’re having a heated argument with your partner, stay away from social network and photo sharing apps. Posting screenshots, photos of “affairs”, and all these intimate details about your partner will only make you immature. It’s also going to be awkward once you’ve made amends. Imagine telling the world that your boyfriend is the most boring person, only to be sharing a kiss selfie with him.
4. Kissing Selfies
Speaking of a kiss selfie, nobody has any business of seeing you smooch your partner. This is an intimate part of your relationship that should stay hidden– unless it’s your wedding kiss.
5. Expensive Gifts
This is just an indirect form of humblebragging. It’s not as classy as you think it is.
6. Too Much Mushy Stuff
Those sweet messages should be said in person. Nothing is sweeter than the love of your life telling you how much you mean to him/her.
7. Mean Jokes About your Partner
This could be a fun, light banter that your SO will definitely understand. But not everyone on his/her friend list would get that. If you don’t want any conflict from his/her friends or relatives, just stay away from teasing her on social media and photo sharing apps.
8. The Breakup
You don’t owe your friends and followers any form of explanation. Don’t also spend time badmouthing your partner, as this will also reflect upon your character.
Honestly, it’s better to keep mum with your romantic relationship. Instead of taking a couple of romantic selfies anywhere you go, you can use the time to fully cherish each other’s presence.
But if you do want to share a few good memories with someone you love, there’s also no problem with that. Just keep in mind the proper boundaries when posting on photo sharing apps, and you’re good to go.
